Enjoying the Locust Concert

You can't beat it. The concert. The serenade. If you can take the heat and the mosquitoes don't come down to take your blood, the sound of the locust in the trees is simply amazing. Try it sometimes. If you open your mind and ears you whole lot more than just some noisy insects. These things have rhythm they have melody and harmony. And every now and then you get a solo. This isn't one of my funny blogs. This is music. This is life. This is locusts at their finest. If they sounded this beautiful when God sent them to Egypt (see the book of Exodus), the Egyptians may have thought nothing of it - at first. I will close and enjoy the concert for a few minutes before going inside.
