Revisiting Independence Day...on NPR's All Things Considered

On July 4, we were listening to NPR on the way home from shopping. Two stories on that day's All Things Considered program were quite interesting.
One story was about a book based on Tadeusz Kosciusko. The book about this Revolutionary War Hero was written by Alex Storozynski. He was interviewed on the program. It sounds like it would be an interesting read.

The other interesting story was about the WASPs from WWII. I had no idea what these ladies did and what they meant to our country. It is ashamed how they were treated back then and that it took this long for them to be honored.
