John Hughes - one of my favorite directors died today in my favorite city.
He passed away of a heart attack.
He was an awesome director. His movies speak for themselves so I won't try to write about how great they were.
Even though many of the most popular movies he directed were in the 80's, I can still watch most today and be transformed to when I first saw them.

Thanks for posting your link to FB. I then went to the article, and I loved all of those movies he did as well! Just didn't know that he was the director/author of any of them. Now I do. Sad that he died at such a young age.
